Re: COLOURS
They look lovely Dave, quail or otherwise
Seem to have a bluish / lavender tinge to them, but that might be your camera. Feather pattern looks like a range, so range silver? Wonder how they compare to Suz's ones?

Re: COLOURS
Simply stunning! I wish someone who has a bit more money than me, would get on the ball and import all these colors to the US.

<<<Your looking at one of the FIRST breeders in the U.S.A. who will have the Silver/Platinum Coturnix and maybe acouple other cool new colors. I'm working with a breeder...he is importing 70-100 eggs from Australia possibly this fall....and then I'm getting his first eggs from whatever birds he hatches!

Re: COLOURS
I'd bet a nickel your talking about Garrie. Do you think he will get any of the mini-japs as they call them? I'd be so interested in those no matter the color! If he does please let me know! Thanks, Ed.

Re: COLOURS
LOL I will take that nickel and raise you a dime! Yep me and Garrie are working on it. Don't get too worked up or start spreading it...LOL I'm guilty but just want to make sure it doesnt go through the whole grape-vine. But if all goes well it should be awesome! Sorry we dont plan on getting any mini-japs....Our main goal is the Silver/Platinum gene. The person he is getting the eggs from runs a big mixed flock...doesnt have I dont think any pure Silvers or Platinums but has birds that have the gene and coloration.
Contact me in the spring/summer next year. I should have some!

Re: COLOURS
what does it entail I wonder, importing eggs? For instance, how would you go about importing miniature Japanese eggs from someone in the UK? Hmmmmm..........
