I have a 15W 45cm / 18" Repti Glo 8.0 Desert Terrarium UV bulb which produces no heat just uv rays. I was wondering if it would be ok to put over my quail to create artificial sunlight. The box says Very High UV output. Is this bad for CPQ The bulb is supposed to stimulate appetite, activity, and reproductive behavior, It also promotes Vitman D3 synthesis. Can anyone tell me if this could be bad?

Maybe Andy could answer this.

Alright, So yesterday I was letting my mallards have a swim in the kiddie pool when my dog came about and kept trying to get them. I kept pushing the dog away and I guess my ducklings thought I was defending them. Now they go balistic (sp?) when im not around making all sorts of racket and they follow me around the porch and yard if the dog doesn't scare them. I wanted this at first, but I was told that if you tame the ducklings like that they will be easier ...

Ive got a very useful tip for a lot of eggs it works on chicken eggs quail eggs anything really basically what you do is get a circular peice of card board and cut a circle in the middle to match the size of your egg and if you have a 60w bulb with a cover other it like an outside shield around it you can place the cardboard against the light and stair straight through the egg hope this helps.
