Would quails be a good feature in our orchard?
We have a boarding cattery which partly surounds a fenced fox proof orchard. Currently there are 14 ducks living there with some being patiently hatched by our muscovy. The ducks have been one of our greatest attractions because they provide hours of entertainment for our paying guests.
We have kept poultry over a period of years but never quails. My question is, would quails live happily in our orchard with our ducks?
We would appreciate your input.

Hi,
Unless they are in a safe outdoor pen, the answer is no.
They would just fly or wander away if they are loose. You can house them in simple arks or runs.
