hi all im new 2 all the quail world av just placed an order 4 a brinsea octagon 10 auto this will b the first time having a go at hatching eggs so any tips??? thanks Very Happy

find a good supplier on the forum, try not to use ebay, if you do check the sellers response, i suggest Derek, his eggs are perfectly wrapped and none broke. there are lots of hatching eggs for sale like from suz, welywin quails,riverside-quails, lots more.

run the incubator with no water till the end, then fill up the reservoirs and DONT OPEN IT!!!!!

run the incubator for a few days before putting the eggs in to make sure the tempature is right

I have an Octagon 10 and it worked perfectly. It took 24 quail eggs. I did have to adjust the temperature to get it just right - but found it easy to use.

If you click on my website below and look on the right hand side under categories you will see my first hatch right from day one and loading the inccie.
