Has anyone ever had green/blue eggs before?
I thought that it was just a mishap, as it was the hens first egg, but every one since then has been the same colour. It seems strange.

are they japs or CPQ as CPQ lay really weird colored eggs.

they're jap eggs. They still have the normal markings but the base colour is greeny/blue. Very Happy

these are the best pics i could get. They dont show the colour too well but you can see that they are different. This is 2 funny eggs compared to a normal one

Don't worry whitecharmer, the eggs are perfectly normal Smile, mine lay a whole range of colours from white with no spots to chocolate (theres pictures of them on here somewhere)

Ahh, I thought you meant they didn't have the brown markings at all. I've seen some eggs in the supermarket that sort of colour before. bluey with brown mottling. Just a bit of genetic variation. I've read of some strains that lay unusual colour eggs. One strain laying celadron coloured eggs (a sort of pale sea green resembling Sung dynasty porcelain).
