funny coloured eggs
Has anyone ever had green/blue eggs before?
I thought that it was just a mishap, as it was the hens first egg, but every one since then has been the same colour. It seems strange.

these are the best pics i could get. They dont show the colour too well but you can see that they are different. This is 2 funny eggs compared to a normal one

Don't worry whitecharmer, the eggs are perfectly normal , mine lay a whole range of colours from white with no spots to chocolate (theres pictures of them on here somewhere)

Ahh, I thought you meant they didn't have the brown markings at all. I've seen some eggs in the supermarket that sort of colour before. bluey with brown mottling. Just a bit of genetic variation. I've read of some strains that lay unusual colour eggs. One strain laying celadron coloured eggs (a sort of pale sea green resembling Sung dynasty porcelain).
