how much does a dead eating quail sel for. because i hope to supply to a local butcher and i don't know what to sell them for also to i have to sell them plucked and/or gutted. and am i right in thinking that jap quail are best

You can't legally supply dead birds for human consumption unless you have a license to kill (as it were). You'd have to sell live birds for them to do the deed on.

you could also rear some birds for your own consumption as a few of us on this site do.
