yeah that house would be fine, infact you could quite easily house 2 male 6 female CPQ in each level or use 1 level for a trio of larger quail like the Japanese.

and also i saw on one of your topics you cut out a couple of squares from the mesh and put the feeder and drinker facing outwards would cpq use this ok?

I think mine are 1 male to 3/4 females, and there getting on fine.

I use budgie drinkers that poke threw the bars and hang d-cup feeders in the CPQ/budgie breeder cages and poultry feeders/drinkers in the other cages as they can escape threw a 1/2" x 1" hole.
