Last try for the Queen

Post by Welwyn Quails on Tue Mar 11, 2008 12:37 am

First of all I'd like to thank everybody, in particular Emma, who's given me advice and encouragement about uploading pictures. I've spent all day tearing out my few remaining hairs, but I think perhaps now I've finally got the hang of it. I'm not going to show pictures of Californian, Gambel or Blue Scale as I think lots of forum members probably keep these and know exactly what they look like.

1) This is a photograph of the Mearns. It's taken me years to get these, but I've now got 3 pairs and they are my pride and joy.

2) This is the photo of one of my Bensons or common name Elegants

3) And here is the photo of my Mountains. They are like pets: when I go into the aviaries they come and sit on my sholder, they at from my hand and of course there is always one that is the naughty one which tries sneaking up behind me to steal the mealworms from the dish before I've had time to put it down.

Just like pets, as you can see. They're really playful and definitely have individual characters.

As I said this is my last attempt. No surprise that it has been a fiasco therefore
these is my last attempt. I give up. No photos, sorry guys.

I've had enough. Grrr!

Hurray I think
Mountains

Elegant

Mearns

If this has worked you might even get to see full-size photos, and I'll be encouraged to try uploading more tomorrow.

It's dreadful, all this public failure - just like being back at school and the stupidest boy in the class. Thanks to all who've helped with the homework!

I for one only keep Japs & Bobwhites and would love to see your fancy Cali's, Gamble & Blue Scale as I've only seen them on google Smile

So please post more pictures
