Gravel Crazy

Post by Suz on Mon Apr 21, 2008 8:23 pm

Ordered Gravel last week to try and make the front of the house look a bit tidier - originally ordered 3 tonnes, but when it was delivered thought no way was that enough so, phoned and got them to send down the same again Embarassed Over the weekend I've graveled the front garden, the aviary, the sectioned marked off as the new duck pen and a path up to the quail shed and I think I've still got a 4 tonne mountain of gravel left Rolling Eyes

Here's my aviary surrounded by 6" of gravel

wow i think the gravel looks really good may use it myself.i use wood chip which also has a nice appeal to it.i suppose the best thing is to have a variery of flooring for birds to keep them interested?

The Aviary used to be floored with wood chips & bark, but it kept going moldy and was difficult to disinfect, I find the round gravel far more hygienic.
