Foxes Empty Foxes

Post by Welwyn Quails Tue Jul 01, 2008 12:01 pm

Got 3 of the little devils yesterday. Needless to say, whoever messes with my chickens (especially if they've had Joy's Basil), they mess with me, and pay the consequences!!

Trapped one in the morning (pretty young cub, but never mind). Went rabbiting with a friend last night in the grounds of nearby house. We shot one rabbit and, almost immediately, a fox came to pick it up (easy takeaway) and met her maker. Then straight away, another fox popped up from nowhere and met the same fate. Beautiful cubs in splendid condition, and so well fed - probably on my free-range chickens!

3 down, who knows how many to go.

Foxes beware, Nino's on the warpath

Aww, for some reason shooting the adult ones seems OK, but babies are babies!

Glad your flock is 3 foxes safer though.
