Scam or not?
Hi,
What do other member's of this forum think of this ebay sale:- Item number: 130236498454
They are for european migratory quail eggs. I always thought this is just another name for the Japanese quail. If they are a different species, how will anyone know as I've googled and they look identical.
I've asked the seller for picture of the adult birds and their eggs, incubation times and incubation and humidity levels. Also places where he bought his stocks from. Just a few questions, which all buyers on ebay need to know, but rarly ask.
Derek.

Re: Scam or not?
I just had a look - I think he might be trying a different angle to sell his eggs
After all - all quails fly don't they? Rather strange not to put up any photos too - so I doubt the would sell many.
I can't think of anyone who would buy some without a photo or more of a description.

Re: Scam or not?
Well he's got a few bids on his other auctions, so it seems to be working! The buy it now for £8 for 6 eggs + £4 postage is rather steep.
I wouldn't buy it, but then I like to see a pic and know exactly what I'm getting for that price.

Re: Scam or not?
I saw an advert recently for "migratory quail" and didn't get an answer when I asked for clarification over the species...
