Cage lighting
I have a 15W 45cm / 18" Repti Glo 8.0 Desert Terrarium UV bulb which produces no heat just uv rays. I was wondering if it would be ok to put over my quail to create artificial sunlight. The box says Very High UV output. Is this bad for CPQ The bulb is supposed to stimulate appetite, activity, and reproductive behavior, It also promotes Vitman D3 synthesis. Can anyone tell me if this could be bad?

Alright now I've replaced there red brooder light with a 60 watt Energy Star bulb, it's very bright and they seem to be running all around eating and drinking.
