there's much worse than that but I deleted them, because they made me feel physically sick, poor beasties being skinned alive in china on mass - i could hardly believe that sort of cruelty could exists in the day and age, its like something from a gruesome horror movie. I'm with you it merits a few ******'s

Yip, but its not backward countries the UK, Australia & USA's treatment of poultry & other livestock is disgusting.

I didn't go looking for cruelty clips, I'm by no means an animal activist,I usually shy away from the subject. I came across one clip by accident, which linked to another while looking for quail clips - I was so disgusted, I really hadn't realised this barbaric treatment was still happening in 2007.

I remember years back there was a big Media campaign to stop the clubbing to death of seal cubs for there fur, but I certainly don't remember being told that Canada lifted the ban 2yrs ago, because the demand for seal cub pelts were so high. I had no idea before yesterday the poor/sick treatment of the poor sheep to produce cheap wool or cows in the USA & Asia being dismembered while bleeding to death to produce cheap leather.

But the thing that disgusts me most is that I could have some these product in my house without realising it, KP was working abroad alot last year, on one trip he brought back furry animals for the kids 2 cats & a dog - I thought they were probably made with rabbit fur (I wasn't pleased with hubby choice of gift, but he'd been away for 13wks - so didn't say anything) after watching these clips, I'm pretty sure no rabbits were used on those toys. On another trip he brought back a beautiful combat/parka jacket with faux fur !?! removal collar - knowing which country the jacket came from it's really made me think twice about the "faux"

Anyway, thanks to a random search of YouTube - I'm now boycotting M&S, KFC, Canada, China.
