Post by Guest Wed Jul 25, 2007 2:00 am

Hi everyone,

I wondered if anybody could help me find an Orpington POL hen(s). I would preferably want them to be Buff, but I realise that in some areas these hens are like gold dust. So I would basically consider any colour now.

I AM IN ALCESTER, WARWICKSHIRE, NEAR STRATFORD UPON AVON.

However I can also arrange travel (up to 30 miles)

Please pm me if you can help.

I am going on holiday tomorrow, and I will not be back until 2 August, so please excuse me if there is a lack of response to any pm.

Martin

Hi Martin and Craig

If you wanted buff orp eggs I could definitely point you in the right direction for some eggs as I know of a lovely lady in Norfolk that sold me some eggs last year. Give me a shout if you consider hatching your own?

Hi Rosie,

Thanks, but I think I am going to have to wait untill next year for Hatching now. Quail Eggs are going to be filling up my incubator until next year.

Thanks anyway,
Martin

LOL Just give me a shout nearer the time when you want some. The lady I would recommend is really helpful even after you have bought and hatched the eggs.

I intend on buying more from her next year too. I am looking out for bearded silkie eggs so if you know of anyone with them?

Not sure about that.

I got my second bunch of quail from a lady who is now the secretary of the British Silkie Club, so she may be worth a try.

All her birds are in tip top condition, and they are also show winners more often than not.

If you go onto

her username is lucypaddydog , it may be worth sending her a pm to ask.
