HELLO
Hi all,
Sorry i have not been around for ages, but i have been really poorly. I caught Viral Enteritis and it knocked me for 6. I lost a ton of weight and it has taken me up till now to feel just a bit better. I am still on antibiotics and have to see the doc again this week as something has shown up on tests, but i don't know what yet. I am really tired and need to rest quite often, but i think i am on the mend, well i bloomin' well hope so
I also had a quail trauma a couple of weeks ago. I went out in the morning as usual and poor little Wonky looked quite strange. I got her out of the pen and all she could do was flop around and her head was all over the place. I dashed her to the vets and we had a suspected case of Newcastle Disease. Sadly Wonky had to be put to sleep and then i had to go through the trauma of DEFRA vets investigating, that was something i can tell you. But luckily it wasn't that, Wonky had really strange legs, she was born with bad birth defects (breeder still won't admit to it) and she went into like a neurological shock, which the vet suspected could have happened at any time. I do still miss her as she was a great character, but obviously couldn't live like that
Well that is the story so far, i am hoping to get back on site if that is still ok with everyone, i know i have been away for ages though and will understand if it is a problem.
Hope to speak to you all soon
Hugs
