I found this on the internet (on sexing ducks) and was wondering if the same can be done for other birds E.g.; quails and chickens

Hi Andy,

Ducks and geese have a penis that you can see, chickens, quail etc don't, Thats why it does'nt work. I should of said that in my first post.

There must be some way of sexing before the colours come out? I am experimenting all the time to see if there are any signs of difference. no luck so far but hey the combined knowledge on this site must be enough to find away of telling.
