Japs or Italian quail! Empty Japs or Italian quail!

I have now got the housing sorted but need to choose what type of quail to get. happydance2 Its out of Japanese or Italian Coturnix. Which is better at laying eggs or is there another breed that lays more eggs? help

There exactly the same thing just different colours ...... do a forum search there's tons of threads covering this topic.

Why have a few of each - it's nice to have more than one colour. Normal japs are brown and the italian are gold - both lay very well.
