layers pellets??
ok so this is a daft question so it is in the right section lol!
when people say to give their quails layers pelletts are these the same as what i would be feeding my chickens?? if so do i need to crush them down a little as my quails are a lot smaller than my chickens!

if you buy quail pellets they are the same as your chicken ones but smaller they cost about £9 a 20kg sack

Re: layers pellets??
no, once your quail are older than 6 weeks dont feed them chick crumb. Adult Japanese Quail manage to eat normal chicken Layer pellets without having to crush them down.
