I know it's best to have 5 hens to 1 male but would fertility be okay with 6?? I would really like to keep 6 hens in one group I have but really can't be doing with the hassle of 2 males!!! It'd only be 1 extra lil hen for him. What do you think? scratch

Most of my cocks tend to pick a favourite who gets the most attention, so I don't really think one extra would be too much of a problem, I seem to be getting great fertility at the moment and some of my hens look like they've never been touched!
