incubator help needed Empty incubator help needed

hi all can i take the eggs out of the inc on the last day and hatch them in a box with a heat mat under it that will be 38.5 as a have different eggs in the inc and cant stop turning thanks. and wot level of humidtiy is needed 4 them to hatch without problems

Hi,

I can only see this idea working if the box is sealed like an incubator is.

Problems being, not all quails hatch on day 18. Some start to hatch from day 16 onwards. Another problem is, how are you going to maintain a humidity level of 50-60%?.Your going to have to maintain this level for at least 2 days.

I think I would leave them where they are and hope for the best.
