Hi! I am Sam,aged 14 and live in Kent with my mum, dad and sister emily.

Started with poultry last year after going to staying on a farm in cornwall that had chickens, ducks and geese. A month later we had 3 14 week old light sussex pullets. A week later we decided to get 3 Buff Orpington bantam so went all the way to norfolk to get them as we couldn't find any localy.

So it stayed like that until at the begining of this year one hen went broody and we started hatching chicks. Since then all 6 have gone broody and have hatched lots of chicks. Even got an 50 egg incubator because i love hatching so much (its off until next year).

Then in April this year started reading up about quail. Wasn't any good books so turned to the net and found this forum. Got 5 quail now and more will be coming next year. Also got 3 ducks as well as other pets.

All can say is once you started you won't be able to stop.
