Is it male

Had my 5 female Italians for a month or 2 and have only had 3 or 4 eggs a day. I think i may have a male but not sure. Its vent isn't as big as the others and i sure i heard some sort of crowing yesterday morning. Here are some pics

you need a clear picture of the head & chest marking for photo sexing of golden Japs ..... but that looks like a female.

Thats good! Got 3 eggs today. Should i be getting 5 eggs a day? The bird pictured vent is really small unlike some of the others, which suggest that it isn't laying. Is there such thing as a bird that never lays?
