Stopped Laying Empty Stopped Laying

Post by Suz Sun Sep 23, 2007 2:38 pm

My hutch quail have stopped laying I've had nothing form them in 3 days, but my Ark quail are still laying daily - Both are outside and get the same amount of light, fed the same, only weeks of age difference, etc.

Any idea's to whats going on?

Hi,

It's normal for birds to stop laying this time of year if they are outdoors. The ones that are still in lay will soon stop.I would have a guess here, the laying birds are slightly younger? Derek.
