My first chicks!
This might be a little bit pic heavy...but trust me, this was controlling myself!
What we saw when we came downstairs...
Maglet hides in the corner.
Daisylet goes over to meet Maglet.
Daisylet, look at that little wing!
Xmas day in the brooder (light bulb number 3)
And again.
The brooder...4 lightbulbs down the road in the lamp, i've had to use the lid of the inc as the heat lamp...our electrics are rubbish We keep getting surges that blow the bulbs (we've got a thingy that you plug into the mains, then plug the appliance into and it tells you the voltage). I'm a bit worried one will boink their head on it, but they've not so far.
Daisylet left, Maglet right.
Roselet (chickie number 3).
Daisylet, and Maglet running off.
Maglet from behind, and Daisylet.
Roselet is camera shy Most of the ones of her were really blurry. They're speedy little buggers, zooming all over the brooder. Since I conveniently got a chick from each hen, they're named after their mums for now.
