Just popped down to check on chooks and quails and there was my first quail egg!!!! happydance1 All perfect and beautifully clean laid conveniently by the door for me! happydance2 Woo hoo! As I haven't been lighting them I really wasn't expecting any yet. And the sun is shining today after all that wind and rain yesterday (even made leccy go off at 10.30 last night for 10 mins which sent me into a blind panic, literally, as eggs hatching in incy). All worked just fine in the end. Very Happy

Okay I'm really sad - here is a piccy of my very first quail eggs in the whole wide world (apart from maybe the odd one eaten in a snobby restaurant) - 1 laid a day for the past 5 days plus 2 laid by my chooks today! Very Happy
