Indoor Quaily Cages
Well i've half-finished the stack of cages. I need to put the doors on the top and bottom ones, but here are some pics of the quail settling in.
The plastic tray bulges forwards a bit s the door has more of a gap than I wanted but ah well.
Daisy, Maggie, Rose and Waylon investigating...and pooing a lot.
Rose after looking disgustedly into the nest box and seeing no bedding yet!
The chicks having a look round their level.
Its worked out at 93cm x 50cm per level, do you think 5 birds per level would be too much?

Re: Indoor Quaily Cages
Cheers guys I'm really pleased with it, i've never attempted to build something so large before.
Once I know what Maglet is I can figure out how many on what level (and who gets to go live outside in the nice big run)...then there's all the fun of the new chicks! The bottom level is boarded on 3 sides, so it'll be nice and un-draughty for little chickies.

Re: Indoor Quaily Cages
4 levels, 50cm high. I did try and get a pic of the whole thing unfortunately the room isn't wide enough for a front view! I'll get a sideish one when all the doors are on though
