Any breeders near Mid-Wales?
Hi
We're interested in keeping quail a bit later in the year. Are there any breeders near Mid-Wales on the forum or can anyone recommend anybody? From reading the posts about the type of breed I'm pretty sure we'd be looking for regular Japanese quail.
Thanks
Maria

Hi Maria,
Try looking through the members list (At the top of this page) you might find some one near to you.
If not, there are a few breeders on the forum who maybe willing to sell you hatching eggs.
Hatching eggs are far better than buying birds, with chicks you'll know exactly how old the birds are, something you can not do with an adult bird without a current year close ring on.Hatching quail eggs is very simular to hatching bantam/chicken eggs.
Derek.
