Washing hands
After handling your quails what do you wash your hands with?
I have been using anti-bacterial handwash or soap and hot water, but today i was advised to use Hibi Scrub, which is what they use in hospital and it stinks.
Do you think it might be a bit extreme or a good precaution?
I do was my hands quite a lot as i have many different pets and also the work i do and i have just discovered some stuff called "magic gloves" its handcream that is kinda like gloves, sounds a bit dappy but my hands feel better for it.

Washing Hands
I always just use soap and water, and insist that my kids wash their hands after they handle any birds.
I think that there is no need to be paranoid about bacteria, but salmonella is not nice and e-coli can be a killer!
Lets not even start worrying about viruses.
Thanks
