Sold some quail Empty Sold some quail

I've just sold 5 of my quail - I was so sad to see them go but this has freed up a bit of room. Crying or Very sad They have gone to a super home - the lady was absolutely lovely and has a huge aviary for them. Sounds like they'll be spoilt rotten! Very Happy Can't believe someone sold her 3 males as females last yr - saying that the flecks on their backs meant they were female. Understandably she was a bit nervous that I was definitely giving her females - so I did my best to show her what was a male and what was a female and hope I reassured her. When they start popping out eggs she'll know for sure! Razz Hope they don't make her wait too long.

How wonderful Harrie - I am sure that you will get referrals from her now. What size incubator do you have?

Well - incy already on with some of my Golden Giants and some Giant x normal. I can fit 60 quail eggs in Lottie.

I was really pleased with how the quail looked that she took - they all looked lovely and healthy and bouncy.

Any photos of your Giants on here anywhere? Are they much bigger than the normal - and are they good 'meat' birds?
