CPQ 4 Week old chicks
At 4.5 weeks do CPQ still need heat?
I have some birds that keep flying at the top of the cage and im scared that if I put like a towel under the cage lid to keep them from hurting themselves that they will get too cold or something.

Re: CPQ 4 Week old chicks
at almost 5 weeks old my CPQ chicks would be off the heat, a lot depends on the temperature, (outside temp)
if mine feel the cold at that age, i would put a 40w bulb as high in the brooder as possible, just to give them a little heat.
i do keep all my CPQ indoors tho, (a shed) so there is no draughts or chill in there.
hope this helps you
