The tank full of girls and a couple of coy goldens who could still go either way.


Girls again. That golden at the front is "Funny Feathers".


Girls from Derek (minus Funny Feathers, although her leg straightened out and she can walk fine her she has 2 bent toes and finds it hard to balance on my arm).

The quail cages - I should really have turned the light on to make the photo clearer! Top shelf is storage until needed, and might even stay storage as I can't see in without standing on a chair


And here's the bird from my lot with a bad leg - Because of the way the leg was bending splinting was pretty impossible. You can see the way the knee joint has swollen, and forced the bottom part of the leg to bend outwards. It doesn't seem painful, you can bend the leg and it doesn't mind, it just can't bend it properly itself. Funny Feathers knee is still swollen, but it doesn't seem to cause any discomfort.

Aww they're lovely Emma. I can see that mine are turning out just like your ones from Derek. How many gold and how many normals hatched from Derek's?? Just being nosey.

3 goldens and 11 normal from Derek. 5 hens and 9 cocks is a just a smidge worse than i'd hoped for, but hardly far off 40:60.
