Post by Ironsun Fri Apr 25, 2008 10:26 pm

Hi,

Here are two photo's I had taken with my crappy cheapo camera, they don't really show the colours like I wanted them too.

The first photo shows Left Normal and right, the colour I call cinnamon

https://2img.net/h/i287.photobucket.com/albums/ll149/EtoshaStud/Quail/quail.jpg

The second shows LEFT. Normal black spotted golden, RIGHT. Cinnamon spotted golden

Sorry about the quality of the photo's there really rubbish.lol

You can kind of tell the one on the left is lighter on the second photo. I wonder what colour it really is, or if its new!

There is a difference, but the resolution on your camera leaves a lot to be desired. I think I might have hatched some of what you call cinnamon. Not absoloutely sure, as their feathers are only just comming.

I've sharpened the picture a bit, but quality isn't great.

Hi,

I'll have to get a better camera, or get my son leigh to take them. But there is a difference between the two.

I've just had a good look at some of my goldens...some do have black/really dark brown spots and the others are more cinnamony...I'd just thought of them all as "brown" before Razz
