Day one of "Does copper tape really stop slugs?"

Well just arrived home to find my copper tape on the door step, i've put it round a few of the tubs with pepper and courgette pants, so lets see if they survive the onslaught of slugs. I've sliced my thumb open applying it (who thought strip metal would be sharp?) so its certainly put me off sneaking up and chomping the leaves

yes copper strip works, but you also want to buy a liquid that you water in the tub to kill any that are in there already. Then non can get in and there are no existing either.
