Another Strange Egg Phenomenon Empty Another Strange Egg Phenomenon

Well today I was putting some quail eggs into a bowl and discovered what appeared to be a quail egg. It was definatelt some sort of a quail egg, however there was only half a shell, and there was no liquid or anything just a solid "rubbery" egg, it looked like a boiled egg but it was rubbery.

Any ideas?
