Thanks for the pictures Ronnie it's nice to see other peoples aviarys, gives me a better idea how to set up and improve mine. You've got some lovely birds. Two of my Zeba finches have been very 'friendly' today is it too late in the season to put a nest box up?

no way zebras will breed during the coldest days lol just put a few nest boxes in, we built ours in my dad imagination it was fun as we couldnt picture when building it but he could lol. ive got loadz of zebra finches and about 18 bengalese about 20 canarys one is my own chick i bred and a pair of gouldians. as long as they have access inside if they are cold or somewhere where they can go if its too cold they will breed the eggs are zebra eggs as the bengalese dont want to mate the gouldians dont want to but the zebras are mental im a grandad as my first 2 zebra chicks ended up male a female so the female mated with another cock bird and had 3 chicks now them 3 chicks are grown up and making nests lol the 3 eggs were from my 2 fawn pairs so definetly fawn chicks thank god.
