Wow! Mika really is a stunning lad!

Hmmm... Grace is maybe a tad on the young side to be declaring her female, as silkies are notoriously difficult to sex. Having said that, she DOES look rather feminine. Fingers crossed!

Hi Suz,

I once bought 3 black silkie pullets, and even at 24 weeks old, I was convinced they were all females, until one morning, 4.15am, one of the buggers started crowing!( it left me with a trio though)

But still, so far, I'm thinking Grace is "still Female"

Oh knowing my luck with silkies she'll end up being Grason and the 2 males wont get on, resulting on me buying yet another house from eBay to keep them seperate while I unsucessfully try to hatch them out some wives

but so far she's littler than Mika at that age and her head fluff is growing different, and she has no sign of a comb or dangly bits (wattles?) so I'm keeping my fingers & toes crossed.
