chick1 my jumbos that are now about 9wks old are the best cheers when i go to the shed they start jumping up n down like they are on a spring bounce (not in a scared way) and when i open the cage they are falling over each other to get to me, when i put my hand in i have all 3 of them sitting on me Very Happy they are so easy to handle i just reach in and pick 1 up happydance2 unlike my califorians No

I think all the variations of japanese quail can become tame, friendly bird with the right socialisation and handling - like yours all mine genuinely look pleased to see me and are more than happy to come out for a cuddle and a wonder round the living room

I highly recommend them. Smile
