I have never imported eggs, but have done so with some exotic plants (mainly orchids). I believe the process is very similar. You need to apply for a relevant licence from DEFRA, which is probably the easy bit. Then find someone willing to export for you and get relevant health certificates and CITES certificate, they may also need an export licence.

It is quite a time consuming, expensive and there are no guarantees that your goods will not be damaged and held up by customs. If you don't have the correct paperwork, your consignment is destroyed.
