confused on houseing how many quails

ok the new cage av adapted to house quails is 2.5 by 2.5 by 2.5 so how many japs at adult size can that house as most web sites say diffrent sizes and people on here probs no more lol

Your cage measures 75cm x 75cm = 5625sq cm, giving each bird 900sq cm , you could house 6 birds in this size cage. Derek.

Hi Harry,

The least I would make a shelter is 450sq cm of space per bird, it gives them plenty of room to move around in if they can not get out if say it's raining.It's best to make your shelter as large as possable, so their food and water are always placed in the shelter away from wild birds. Derek.
